Both Alexa Chung and Rosamund Pike kept the look very pared down and let the dress’s quirky print speak for itself – no jewellery or fancy hairstyles here.

Pike dressed her outfit up slightly with a glitzy clutch bag that I think matches the dress perfectly, whilst Chung was brave enough to take nothing but herself – I guess with a personal make-up artist on call you don’t need to lug your lipstick and mascara around everywhere like us mere mortals. The Christopher Kane galaxy-print & leather dress costs £955 but he has designed a cheaper, modal version for £220.
