SJP steps out in H&M sandals

Erm, SJP, can you read that chapter in the style rule book that states you, as the physical embodiment of Carrie Bradshaw, should always wear fabulous shoes?

I’m not sure what Sarah Jessica Parker was thinking stepping out in these White ‘Swedish Hasbeens’ strappy sandals from H&M (£34.99). I mean, why even own shoes that don’t have a stilleto or wedge high heel?

The Sex and the City actress was wearing the sandals with a summer top, navy skirt and white cardi, whilst out with her kids in New York City. She accessorised with a white handbag, huge sunglasses and a massive stack of newspapers.

Sorry SJP fans, but, for me, this outfit  isn’t one of Sarah’s best style moments. The top is shapeless and doesn’t suit the skirt, which looks more like something you’d wear to the office than out on a summer’s day. The ski-style sunnies look way too heavy with Sarah’s hair tied back. The shoes just add to the overall frumpiness of the outfit and aren’t very flattering when you’re showing your legs off. Back to the drawing board for all these items please!
