Taylor Swift plus D & G Dress equals super cute
Taylor Swift couldn’t have chosen a cuter outfit to wear to a recent CMA Music Festival in Nashville.
The country music star wore a floral print dress from D&G’s Spring/Summer 2011 collection. The flower design had a vintage feel, with shades of pink, red, yellow and blue. To add a twist, there was a sheer panel under the cross-over neckline that extended into straps. It’s a little different, but I think it kind of works on this particular dress. Taylor wore a cream belt around her waist, bringing the knee-length skirt out in a fuller shape.
She gave the jewellery a miss, but accessorised with some bow detail brown sandals. That’s where I’m taking a few points off Taylor. With so much pretty detail on the dress, the shoes are just fighting for attention. Some simpler red strappies would have finished the look perfectly, without looking too busy.
If you like Taylor’s tea party style, check out this Floral sun dress from New Look. It has the same fine floral print and cross-over neckline. It’s only £27.99, so you can afford to get a plain cream belt to wear with it for times when you really want to highlight your waist.
You’ve got to admit Taylor looks too cute in this dress, but is that a good or bad thing? Vote away and tell us what you think.
