Prince William and Kate Middleton look demure in cashmere

You can’t get any more royal than a royal in a cashmere sweater!    Okay, Kate chose a cable knit pattern for hers, while William chose plain, but they both went for the shirt/crew neck cashmere combo. This is taking his ‘n’ hers to a new level! Taking a few days to relax at the Queen’s official Scottish residence in Edinburgh, William even chose to give his contacts a rest and gave us a rare glimpse of his bespectacled look.

Vivienne Westwood ripped into Kate’s style recently when she declared her look “too ordinary”.   It would be great to see Kate in something a little more daring and original, but her style has to grow and I think she is getting off to a great start. With her choice here of a Ralph Lauren cable knit sweater, it makes us realise that even the future Queen can’t rock a Jenny Packham or Erdem on the green green grass of home!
