Corinne Bailey Rae vs Estelle

Everyone loves a bit of colour blocking. Corinne Bailey Rae and Estelle adorned this Alice and Olivia colour-blocked maxi dress within days of one another. Corinne kept her black and white combo simple with a thin belt and chain strap purse letting her beautiful locks of curly black hair do the talking while Estelle’s red and black dress was topped off with a wide leather belt, clutch and purple platforms. Very Estelle. So same dress but two different looks. But whose look is better?

Corinne wore her dress to attend Christian Siriano’s Spring 2012 presentation at NYFW. She looked simple and quite cutesy but also quite safe in her overall choice. Meanwhile Estelle oozed sex appeal. She wore this dress to the Us Weekly 25 Most Stylish New Yorkers Event.

So who’s the best singer? I mean Colour blocker? Even though I love a bit of cutesy Corinne and I don’t particularly love a bit of Estelle but I think  our bowl-cutting beauty may win. Just because simply, sometimes glam is more bam on the red carpet.
