Madonna sends hearts a flutter in Vionnet
They say it’s sinking and it’s economy may be taking a bit of a battering at the moment, but when the Madonna stepped out at Italy’s 68th Venice Film Festival, you are reminded of all the reasons not to give up just yet on this wonderful country. She may have chosen a French designer to do it, but Madonna made sure all eyes would be on her and her dress only at the event. The bespoke, made-just-for-Madonna, baby-blue Vionnet gown, adorned with red butterflies, took years off the Queen of Pop. She may be taking some stick today for how line-free her face is looking, but, who cares? She even looks good in red glittery Miu Miu sunglasses in the dark which look perfect with her old style Hollywood curls.
Unless your name is Lourdes, there isn’t much chance of getting your mitts on this beauty, but no doubt the high street will be popping up with all kinds of Vionnet versions over the coming weeks. If you fancy some red butterflies in your life and have $400 going spare you could try this one . But, first tell me; did Madonna send your heart a fluttering in Vionnet? Vote now!
