Leighton Meester vs Solange Knowles in Burberry Prorsum

Who’d have thought these two would be facing each other in a style showdown? With Leighton Meester’s classic style and Solange Knowles’ funky outfits, you couldn’t get two more different dressers. But check this out, both stylish ladies have been caught in the same Burberry Prorsum Spring 2012 beaded sandals.

Miss Gossip Girl got in there first, stepping out in the shoes in September. She paired them with a black printed dress by Mario Schwab. Solange Knowles added the shoes to her eclectic outfit made up of an orange blouse tucked into a high-waisted turquoise skirt. You can get your hands on a pair of these versatile sandals for $795. Solange Knowles didn’t fare well in her last fash-off against Evan Rachel Wood, but she steals the show this time round. The tribal style of the sandals finishes her outfit off perfectly. Leighton Meester’s style is more miss than hit with the sandals over-powering the delicate print on her dress. I think she’d have been better off wearing some smart court shoes. What do you reckon?
