WHO WORE IT BETTER?

Catherina Zeta Jones VS Sarah Hyland in Dolce and Gabbana

By  |

There’s something quite eerie about a dress which turns up years later, isn’t there? In 2005, Catherina Zeta Jones wore this Dolce and Gabbana champagne-coloured dress to the L.A premiere of  The Legend of Zorro. Fast forward seven whole years later and Sarah Hyland ended up in the same dress, at the 2012 Golden Globe Awards, just last week.

Catherina Zeta Jones decided to really change the direction of her dress by going strapless and adding a  red corsage. Though she kept her upper half minimal with beautifully curled shiny black hair and small drop earrings and finished off her bottom half with simple gold stilettos. Sarah Hyland definitely wore this dress with charm and elegance. Putting her hair in a low bun and small loose tossles, she kept everything minimal with a small black clutch and a diamanté bangle.

If you want your very own Champagne Coloured lace dress why not try this and just add your very own lace sash around the midriff.

In my opinion Sarah has really shown Catherine up. Even if it’s seven years on. For some reason, Catherine decided to break up her midriff with this, almost offensive, invasive red corsage. What was her stylist thinking? Flower or no flower? It’s up to you to decide who wore it better!

I love that this is such a classic dress that it still looks as good years later. Sarah Hyland has done a great job of bringing it up to date and her hair looks amazing.

Sarah looks really beautiful in this dress. She defo wears it better. What was Catherine Zeta Jones thinking plonking that red rosette on the waist?! Random!
