WHO WORE IT BETTER?
Penelope Cruz vs Bonnie Wright in Dolce & Gabbana
The masculine theme always seems to come around, whether it’s a major trend or a small trend, every season we want to dress like men in some way or another. Most of the time you can find masculine inspired pieces in the womenswear department but these two women decided to shop in menswear instead. When Penelope Cruz attended the photocall for Venuto al Mondo she wore a tuxedo suit from the Dolce & Gabbana Spring 2012 menswear collection. Teaming it with a crisp white shirt and black heels she looked like she’d just stepped out of the office. Bonnie Wright was then seen wearing the same suit to the 2012 Empire Awards. Wearing a low cut top and black platforms; Bonnie made it look more red carpet than office.
It’s always worth investing in a good suit. And if you can afford to spend £1,345 then this Dolce & Gabbana suit is yours. If you prefer to stick to shopping in the womenswear department then you will love this Amanda Trousers Suit (£201.75).
Bonnie wins this hands down in my opinion. She made the suit look really chic whereas Penelope just looks frumpy and too masculine. Which do you prefer? Vote now!

Bonnie’s is far superior – the best interpretation of “girl in a black suit” for a very long time. The interesting thing is the tension vs. balance with the suit contrasted by lace, chain and earrings and the smoky eyes and the ponytail. Great job really – and if it’s true what some people report, Bonnie has no hired stylist, it’s just her mom helping her if she finds the time. The two ladies have a profound sense for style and fashion.
