Oh my days, I absolutely LOVE this Topshop dress to bits! The British high street brand reached across the pond again to socialite Nicky Hilton, who wore this piece to the NYC screening of The Lucky One the other day. She’s created a bit of a britrock look with a black leather jacket, clutch and Jimmy Choo gold zipped sandals. Tulisa Contostavlos wore the dress last year during a trip to the Radio 1 studios and she, like Hilton, kept it simple yet edgy, adding only a pair of faintly pinstriped shoe boots with a wooden sole and a leopard print handbag.
Print dresses have been a staple for a while now, and Topshop have cleverly combined this factor with a variation of our new favourite – the skater dress. You can buy the original intricate flower origami dress for £60, but if that’s pushing the budget a bit, try this dainty Prom Dress (£20).
Even though clashing prints are totally in right now, I think Tulisa Contostavlos may have taken it a little too far with the pinstripe and wood effect shoes, but that’s being very picky on my part. Both girls look stylish and casual, but who wins it for you?
