Kim Kardashian vs Kate Middleton in Alexander McQueen

Reality vs royalty! This gorgeous eye-catching letter box red Alexander McQueen dress was spotted on our very own Duchess of Cambridge, Kate Middleton at the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee celebration on Sunday. Kate certainly stood out and brightened up the cloudy day, as she took her place amongst the rest of the Royals. Kate teamed the dress with a matching red hat from James Lock & Co and nude LK Bennett heels, giving her usual, effortlessly classy look.

The sleeveless version of this Alexander McQueen Pre-Fall 2011 dress was first spotted on reality star, Kim Kardashian back in August last year. Kim wore the pleated skirt dress with snakeskin Louboutin platform heels, a metallic Jimmy Choo clutch and silver statement jewellery. The original frock isn’t available online but try this red skater dress (£18) for a similar look.

I never thought I’d see Kate Middleton in something Kim Kardashian has been seen wearing but she adds so much more class to the dress than Kim does.
