Versace is always way out there when it comes to fashion and this purple futuristic, metallic, mini-dress from the Versace Fall 2010 collection is no exception. It was worn by Britain’s sweetheart, Pixie Lott back in November 2010 to the launch of The Michael Jackson Experience. Pixie wore the tight, short dress, with added PVC and sculptured lines with black heels and a gold planet symbol necklace – keeping with the ‘out of this world’ style of the dress, I guess.
Fast-forward to present day and Fergie decides to get the two year old dress out in public again while she attends a Case-Mate photoshoot earlier this month. We all know Fergie and her fellow Black Eyed Peas love a bit of intergalatic fashion, but surely this dress is a few lightyears behind? Nevertheless, Fergie wore this dress with blue pointy heels and even pointier, funky, bright nails. This dress isn’t available anymore, but try this purple strapless dress which is on sale for just £10. Hurry!
I’m not really loving this dress – it’s a bit too ‘Fifty Shades’ style for my liking and looks like it should come with a whip! It doesn’t look that great on either lady, so I think Fergie should have let it stay back in 2010! Who wore it better? Or, who wore it worse?! Let me know what you think.
