Linda Evangelista vs Keira Knightley in Erdem

Floral has been everywhere this summer and the trend looks to continue right into autumn, so don’t put those dresses to the back of the wardrobe just yet! Linda Evangelista was spotted, back in May, in this ‘Anouska’ floral dress from the Erdem Spring/Summer 2012 collection, for a visit to Manhattan Family Court. The model looked like a woman who meant business and wore the dress with a beige Chanel quilted bag, black shades and black court shoes.

Keira Knightley was spotted in the same Erdem dress last weekend out and about also in the Big Apple with fiance, James. Keira, who was looking very girlie and all loved up, chose to keep it simple, pairing the dress with flat chain-bar Tapeet sandals and another quilted Chanel bag. I like how girlie this dress can be, but also how it can be dressed up or down, as both these celebs have worn it. I’m not feeling Linda’s black court shoes with the dress though… I understand she’s trying to come over all working mummy, but I think she should have gone for nude and open-toed.
