Kim Kardashian vs Jada Pinkett-Smith in Tom Ford

Does this zip detail, white backless dress look familiar? Well, that’s because back in July, Kim Kardashian was spotted wearing it. Attending the BET awards, Kim showed off her curvaceous booty to die for in this  stunning Tom Ford Fall 2012 dress. She walked the red carpet in style and slicked back hair whilst sporting those Tom Ford gold heels we’ve seen before.

But just last week we saw this zipped dress return to the red carpet. Jada Pinkett-Smith was pictured in it at the Toronto International Film Festival supporting husband Will Smith. The gold zip that runs round the dress gave Jada the curves that she needs to work this frock. In a copycat move, Jada opted for the same hair style as Kim, but accessorised with sassy lace up heels and sparkly earrings.

Both of these ladies look very glamorous in the Tom Ford zipped dress, which unfortunately isn’t available to buy anymore. But for some zip detail action, why not try this black dress (£244). Or how about this backless number ($152) for a similar look to Jada and Kim?

So, who wins? As much as I love Kim, I don’t think this dress flatters her figure as much as other dresses have in the past. Jada fits this dress perfectly with her tiny frame and her classic accessories look divine. That’s my take on it, but what’s yours? Who gets your vote?
