Sharon Osbourne vs Lily Collins in Monique Lhuillier

One word – glamour! Despite the 36 year age gap between them, these two gorgeous ladies have both been strutting down the red carpet in this stunning gown by Monique Lhuiller. The Mirror Mirror star, Lily Collins, was spotted back in February at Vanity Fair’s Oscar party in the Pre-fall 2012 gown. This blue embroidered dress fits Lily divinely, complimenting her pale complexion and elegant style. With simple drop earrings and loosely swept back hair, Miss Collins is oozing modern perfection.

Just a few days ago we saw Sharon Osbourne wearing the very same gown on the red carpet in New Jersey. Aged 59, the America’s Got Talent judge sweeps the floor in this intricate detailed ball gown.  With her bright red nails and matching hair, Sharon certainly put her own twist on this classic ball gown. Similar drop earrings and one blue diamond ring, it seems these girls have very similar taste in accessories too.

Unfortunately, the Monique Lhuillier dress is no longer available to buy online, but this Alice + Olivia keyhole gown could achieve the same effect. Also there are always high street look alikes, which are thankfully A LOT less expensive! Why not try this similar nude dress with black embroidery for $180. What’s your opinion on these celebs?
