Kristin Davis vs Tanya Powell in Karen Caldwell Design

It’s not often we see Kristin Davis or any of the Sex and the City girls in our polls! So it was fun to spot Kristin Davis at The David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust Event in London  last week, wearing this beautiful strapless cocktail dress . Our favourite SATC star accessorised with peep-toe heels, silver bracelets and a sparkle, black box clutch. Dark glossy hair, loosely curled gives Kristin a soft and delicate look which matches the dress divinely.

Early that week, model scout Tanya Powell was captured in same scallop-trimmed dress, by Karen Caldwell Design, at the San Francisco symphony. With her bright red lipstick, this philanthropist looks sophisticated and glamorous with her heavy, silver drop earrings and simple black court heels. This dress cinches in at the waist giving her the perfect womanly hourglass figure that we all want!

Unfortunately, this stunning dress isn’t available to buy but this Callula Lillibelle dress (£555) has a similar, monochrome pattern effect. Alternatively, this patterned frock (£42) is also super-cute. My vote in this fash-off would have to go to Tanya. I think that her accessories are bolder and give the whole outfit a more glam and unique look, whereas Kristin looks a little lost in such a big dress. But let me know what you think and vote below.
