Alexa Chung vs Chloe Grace Moretz in Simone Rocha

Alexa Chung is a well known for her androgynous style, so when she turned up to the to the 2012 British Fashion Awards in a dress embroidered with daisies from the Simone Rocha 2012 Spring collection it was very refreshing to see. The model paired the dress with flower embroidered mesh boots by Nicholas Kirkwood and a black handled bag which added a touch of sophistication to her look, no wonder she rightly won the ‘British Style’ award on the night.

Chloe Moretz followed in Alexa’s fashionable foot steps, by sporting the same dress on the red carpet in neon yellow. Neon was definitely a big trend in Spring 2012 and Chloe was seen keeping the trend alive this week at the 2013 People’s Choice Awards. Chloe accessorised with black suede Casedai pumps and bright red nails, the fifteen-year-old actress looked very cute and oozed confidence in the bright coloured dress.

The dress by Simone Rocha is not available anymore, however you can purchase something similar at ASOS on sale for only £16.50! I think that they both look great, for Chloe the colour is perfect because it makes the outfit age appropriate. Being so young Chloe could have afforded to be a bit more daring with her accessories, so I am with Alexa on this one and I especially love her boots! What do you guys think? Vote below.
