FASHION WEEK

MFW Day 6 | Princess Charlene of Monaco & Princess Tatiana Blatnik FROW at Giorgio Armani

By  |

It feels like its been a week of Fashion overload at the Milan Fashion Week but we cannot give in just yet as the icing on the cake, also known as Paris Fashion Week, begins tomorrow.  The last day in Milan has been crowned with a cherry-on-top Giorgio Armani show, especially after the designer took over the Oscar red carpet last night with the likes of Jessica Chastain, Ben Affleck and Naomi Watts all wearing Giorgio Armani. Looks promising, so let’s take a look at our FROW celebs at today’s Armani show.

Our first spotted FROWer was Armani’s loyal client Princess Charlene of Monaco. Lest we forget, it was Giorgio who designed her wedding dress! This time she was seen wearing a tailored pale cream jacket over simple white blouse, navy blue pants and flats matched with Armani top handle bag. Surprisingly casual but not so for a member of a royal family.

Who else showed up? Another royal guest was Tatiana Blatnik, Princess of Greece and Denmark, also a loyal customer of Giorgio Armani! She was wearing a checked trouser suit which she matched with a pair of sequinned black flats, a small clutch, statement bracelet and drop earrings. Just like Charlene’s, her look was elegant and very minimal – almost as if the royals were trying to make an understatement in this austere times.

Inspiring? Or is it that time to decide whose outfit was best? My favourite look goes to Charlene Wittstock. Mainly because she reflects that Armani philosophy but still less conventional than Tatiana. Get a similar look with this Phase Eight Tyra Jacket (£110), Adini Twill Trousers (£65), Acne white silk blouse (£230) and Rachel Zoe marine flats (£81). Don’t forget this exquisite Armani leather handbag (£1237). But before you go, whose outfit do you think was more befitting for the front row?
