Lea Seydoux vs Olivia Palermo in Louis Vuitton

One Dress. Two celebs. It could only mean one thing… FASH-OFF! Today’s challenge sees Lea Seydoux go head-to-head with Olivia Palermo as both ladies were spotted wearing a drop-waist tunic by Louis Vuitton.

In October last year French actress Lea Seydoux attended the film premiere of ‘Sister’ at the BFI London Film Festival. Lea braved the month’s cold weather in the beautifully detailed white and cream dress. The dress is a clear ode towards the more glamorous side of the 60’s, but her matching bright-pink court heels and lipstick brought out a far quirkier side. To finish off the look Lea carried a metallic gold box clutch.

This month saw ‘A-list’ fashionista Olivia Palermo captured in the same version of the Louis Vuitton dress. Olivia is known for remaining, instead of making the occasional appearances, in the spotlight due to her impeccable taste in fashion. With a wardrobe most women would happily sacrifice their right arm for, she chose to wear this to the Louis Vuitton store opening in Germany. She frequently mixes high-end brands with high street, as these tan coloured heels are from Zara and the gold jewellery gives a ‘city-chic’ feel to it.  She finished off the look with subtle makeup and a polished updo.

My vote goes to Olivia on this one. I think this dress is a statement and by adding bold accessories like Lea just looks a little too much in my opinion. But what do you think? Let me know by voting!
