WHO WORE IT BETTER?

Beyonce vs Blake Lively in Dolce & Gabbana

By  |

Is she or isn’t she pregnant, seems to be the question on everyone’s mind but my own question is how does she manage to do it every time? – grab our attention that is- whether she is in a 9 minute long video with Lady Gaga or doing it alone as a single lady asking for a ring, Beyoncé is ever so captivating. She’s done it again and this time, in a show stopping Dolce & Gabbana lace mini-dress worn to perform on stage with Alicia Keys at Madison Square garden. She paired her black dress with gladiator studded heels by Giuseppe Zanotti. However, Blake Lively was the first one to wear this Dolce & Gabbana S/S10 dress, at the Sherlock Holmes première last year. She styled hers with classic pumps by Christian Louboutin, which made her look very grown up yet still appealing.

If you want the same Dolce & Gabbana Lace Bustier dress, it will cost you £1,254.60 from Luisa via Roma. However, I found you an alternative version- a similar lace bustier dress at Lipsy for just £65.  Both girls seem to have nailed this one for me and its proving a little difficult to choose the best dressed. And so on the basis of shoes alone, i favour Beyoncé’s gladiators over Blake’s Louboutin because they are bang on trend but do you agree? Who nailed this look, Beyoncé or Blake, who wore Dolce and Gabanna better?

i voted blake… not entirely sure why though. it might just be the photo… beyonce’s mid motion and blake is just looking immaculate. totally agree with you though – they BOTH look incredible and are pulling the dress off incredibly well. pretty amazing… might be willing to give my left pinky for that dress (post spring gym sesh of course!). xx
