Corinne Bailey Rae vs Alexis Bledel in Stella McCartney

Stella McCartney has some fantastic floral printed dresses in her Spring/Summer 2011 collection,  but this anemone botanical dress is my current favourite! Alexis Bledel wore hers at the ’25 Most Stylish New Yorkers’ event,  and carried a royal blue clutch which matched the blue flowers perfectly on the shift dress.   As for her lemon wedges,  I’m not sure if they either look too washed out and heavy against her pale pins,  or totally rock it?

Corinne Bailey Rae went completely the other way,  and used just one colour to match hers,  with a black bag,  jacket and sling-back kitten heels.  Although the jacket is great,  it does cover up some of the print on the dress,  and those flowers are just screaming to be seen! You can get yours at Matches,(£980)  or if you prefer a daintier flower look, Topshop have a perfect alternative for just £36.

The flower, anemone, means ‘Daughter of the Wind’ in Greek,  so who blew you away,  and who,  well,  just blew it?  Vote now!
