Olivia Palermo vs Elle Fanning in Marchesa

If I were a mere whippersnapper again, I doubt I could wear this baby-doll dress as fabulous as Elle Fanning, (Babe, Curious Case of Benjamin Button). Elle wore this Marchesa (Spring/Summer ’11) intricate beaded neckline chiffon dress, back in October 2010. With playful ruffles skimming the hem, she made a perfect choice to team it oh-so-perfectly with black Mary Jane shoes.

Fast-forward to April 2011, and the Marchesa dress is having another airing. This time at the ‘Couple of the Year’ awards in Hamburg, Germany. Mango-model-couple Olivia Palermo & Johannes Huebl are burning a hole in the red carpet, and the Marchesa dress is giving Olivia extra fire! Her Club Monaco clutch & other sparkly accessories give her extra pizzazz!

For a high street baby-doll dress, look no further than this one from Dorothy Perkins. White it may not be, but fabulous, cream and beaded it is! A snip at £27, you’d be a fool to miss out on such a bargain! But you before you go and buy it, tell me, who wore it better?
