Kim Kardashian vs Jennifer Hudson in McQueen

It seems these two have a knack for picking out the best in fashion – whatever they choose to wear, someone else has loved it and bought it too. We recently featured Kim Kardashian vs Blake Lively in a gorgeous DVF dress and Jennifer Hudson went head to head with J-Lo in cute Chloé dress, and now these girls have done it again!

Kim and Jennifer were both spotted wearing this beautiful top from the Alexander McQueen Spring/Summer 2011 Collection. Oh, and Salma Hayek has been seen in it too! It’s not hard to tell why – the detailled, golden shoulder pads make this a stand-out piece. Kim teamed hers with some simple black jeans and high-heeled pumps for a night out in Hollywood. Add a classic ponytail, plain clutch and minimal jewellery and the embellished top really does do all the talking. She looks stunning – polished and effortlessly chic.

Jennifer paired her top with some similar black leggings and black heels for the Grammys. Whereas Kim went for brazen sex-appeal in this plunging neckline, Jennier has gone demure – but no less sexy – with just a flash of black lace bra. Unfortunately this top is no longer available but embellished shoulders aren’t hard to find on the high street right now. Back to the girls… personally I’m loving Kim’s look – the ponytail keeps her hair out the way and shows off those beautiful embellished shoulder pads, and makes her overall look seem more clean-cut. Do you agree? Let me know!
