Iman vs Shala Monroque in Jason Wu

Pop Magazine Editor-at-large, Shala Monroque,  is a striking female to look at.  Doesn’t it seem fitting then that she wore the same dress as another striking female?  Iman! The lady that needs no second name!  Shala is known for her love of wearing turbans, and this electric blue one is sizzling!  I would just look like a complete wally in it, but Shala makes it turban-tastic!  She must have a wardrobe full of them in all colours of the rainbow, however,  I’m not convinced about her little brown bag.  With the blue against Jason Wu’s spring 2011 fuchsia dress, and Jason Wu himself, I think she could’ve risked having a complete colour-clash, or matching with the turban perhaps?

Iman is going more matchy-matchy with a similar coloured clutch to the dress.  Although she is a beauty, and who wouldn’t want to look as good as that at 55, but colour-clash on the bag would’ve clinched it for me. Jason Wu’s silk-chiffon gown can be purchased for £2,980.
