Hilary Swank vs Rosie Huntington-Whiteley in Michael Kors

I pity the girl who goes up against Rosie Huntington-Whiteley in the style stakes, I mean, even if the girl’s name is gorgeous! Facing the former model in this Michael Kors Fall 2011 fashion face-off is Hilary Swank. The Oscar winner wore Michael Kors from head to toe to the premiere of new movie Something borrowed. The sparkly long-sleeved top tucked into the tailored trousers was just how it was worn on the catwalk. Rosie Huntington-Whiteley decided to mix it up a bit by wearing the same trousers with a plunging halter-neck top instead for a spot on The Late Show with David Letterman. So it’s Hollywood royalty versus… that model from Transformers 3. But, who wins?

Hilary Swank’s long sleeve top pushes her outfit into ‘too much nude’ territory. Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, on the other hand, makes a great choice opting for a bodysuit top for a much lighter look that doesn’t over-power. Her aviator shades finish the outfit perfectly. These two have inspired me to grab some nude trousers for myself. I can’t afford the Michael Kors trousers at $895, but I’ve found these Nude wide-leg trousers for just £40.

There may come a day when someone gives Rosie Huntington-Whiteley a run for her money, but that day isn’t today. Vote and let me know if you agree.
