Maria Sharapova vs Louise Redknapp in Alexander McQueen

It seems that a little red Alexander McQueen number is at the front of all the celebs wardrobes at the moment as we see another fashion face off in McQueen, this time between tennis beauty Maria Sharapova and everyone’s favourite girl next door Louise Redknapp.

Sharapova wore her Spring/Summer ’11 cherry slit shoulder fin mini dress first back in June to attend the WTA Tour Pre-Wimbeldon Party. She paired it with black leather Burberry Prorsum ankle boots, a black and gold McQueen clutch and a lot of gold jewellery, including a Lara Bohinc choker and matching cuff, drop earrings and an oversized cocktail ring. Louise wore her dress at the end of August to David Walliams birthday party and was more modest with her accessories choosing a simple black clutch, earrings and two-tone black and nude heels.

I like the fact both ladies chose up-do’s to show off the slit detail in the shoulders, but for me Sharaopova will have to take the runner’s up trophy again as although her pins are picture perfect, we’re seeing a bit too much of them here and the jewellery is a bit too much for me. I prefer the length of Louise’s dress and her more simple styling. But what do you think? Vote now!
