Sandra Bullock works masculine chic in Alexander McQueen

By  |

This Fall it’s been all about masculine chic. Wearing a simple tailored suit is an easy way of achieving the look. Sandra Bullock did just that at the ‘Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close’ premiere in New York last week. The actress wore a satin Alexander McQueen suit from the Spring 2012 collection. She cinched in her waist with a black stingray belt and finishing off with cocktail rings and a metallic clutch.

The Alexander McQueen suit will be available in the new year. A black suit in some  shape or form is always available all year round though. This Tux Jacket ($150) and Tux Trouser ($513) are a great investment.

I love Sandra Bullock, but I’m not so sure about this suit on her. Perhaps it was a Speed decision! I think if she’d injected some colour via her shoes or her bag then it would have been a good outfit.  I think she ought to work on her red carpet stance, too!  Masculine suit, yes, but masculine pose, no way! More ladylike please, Sandra!  Do you agree or should Sandra steer clear of suits? Tell me below!
