Eva Mendes vs Jenny McCarthy in Stella McCartney

Asymmetrical one shoulder silhouettes are the way forward…apparently? This teal and silver animal print Stella McCartney dress was sported by two famous girlies at two famous music events. Eva dressed hers up while jenny dressed hers down but both made this glitzy dress work.

Eva Mendes went for a beautifully chilled look at the MTV Movie Awards last year where she combined a simple hair style with a chunky cuff and bag. She then brought the whole outfit together with gold Roger Vivier open toe heels and very small earrings, which I feel were the key part of this look. She managed to make sure she did just enough but not too much with her accessories. Meanwhile Jenny McCarthy wore the same Stella McCartney dress to the American Music Awards. Jenny went with black Christian Louboutin heels and a black clutch. Finishing with an updo that doesn’t distract from her outfit. Though I’m not sure anything could be distracted from this shiny sequence blue leopard print dress.

I think these two looks are a perfect example of styling a dress to complete opposite ways but making it work which makes a vote so much harder!
