Nicki Minaj vs Mary J Blige in Giuseppe Zanotti heels

Every girl loves shoes, and we L-O-V-E these lace-up peep toes by Giuseppe Zanotti! Mary J. Blige was snapped outside Barney’s in them earlier this year and Nicki Minaj rocked them while performing on Good Morning America. Both of these pop princesses have used the tan colour of these gorgeous heels to make colourful outfits pop – a clever ruse! Blige wears a coral blazer with a plain white tee tucked into a pair of bright skinny jeans, with a wide tan belt and some pretty amazing black framed glasses. Nicki Minaj wears a, colourful, block printed bodycon dress from Forever 21, some gold jewelled bangles and of course, her signature barnet.

If you want a pair of heels suitable for both casual and formal events, these Giuseppe Zanotti boots ($1,095) are certainly the way to go. However, if you are on a bit of a budget, try out these suede platform lace-up shoe boots (£40.99) for a bit of affordable glamour.

Personally, I prefer Blige’s more conservative look using a few well chosen colours, made edgy with her stylish up-do. Perhaps Minaj’s enormous hair, jewellery and eyelashes are a bit much? But what do I know, you decide! Vote below!
