This year we will see lots of ‘Grease’ look-a- likes strutting the streets because Leather is going to be huge for Spring/Summer 2013. Angelina Jolie, Jessica Alba, Kristin Cavallari and Olivia Palermo have all been seen supporting this major trend!

Leather isn’t exactly new, however this time its all about wearing leather in completely different ways – head to toe – to ensure it compliments your figure and body shape. One key thing to stick with when wearing leather…simple accessories. No matter how much you love bling jewellery try to keep it minimal as leather isn’t always the easiest thing to pull off. Leather pencil skirts look great on an hour glass body shape, showing off your curves and balancing out your proportions. If you are more boyish shaped, wearing a peplum leather top brings two trends together and gives you the girly silhouette you’ve always wanted! For top heavy girls it’s always best to keep it as simple as possible and add volume to the bottom half, so maybe try the skater leather dress as spotted on the Just Cavali and Marni catwalk and have just now started hitting the stores!
