Leighton Meester VS Princess Beatrice in Elie Saab

From upper East Side princess to real life princess. From Leighton Meester (aka Blair Waldorf)  to Princess Beatrice who has had some very questionable style choices recently (don’t pretend your fashion heart wasn’t scarred by that thing she placed on her head at the royal wedding). Both girls were spotted out and about in this beautiful musty blue Elie Saab dress back in July.

While Leighton Meester teamed her Elie Saab Spring/Summer 2011 dress with ‘matchy matchy’ Elie Saab heels, a box clutch in exactly the same colour and then earrings in blue at an event in Beverley Hills, Princess Beatrice decides to steer into a different direction. Teaming her red hair (which is an accessory in itself for any red head) with Sparkly Louboutins’ and a gold clutch bag at a wedding in Italy. If you love this dress why not get it here. Alternatively if you love the colour of this dress why not go for a similar colour with this adorable shirt dress at £25.

So did Princess number one or Princess number two rock the Elie Saab number? I think I may be borderline on this decision. Perhaps because I am a true gossip girl fanatic or maybe because I still can’t get over the fashion disaster Princess B displayed at only the biggest event in the royal Calendar. Who wore it better?
