WHO WORE IT BETTER?

Anne Hathaway vs Chelsea Handler in Elizabeth and James

When the sunny season comes back around it can only mean one thing; the return of the nautical trend. The infamous red, white and blue shades that are associated with the trend appear in the shops and we all start wearing stripes again. Even the celebrities are embracing it. Anne Hathaway was seen in the stripy Elizabeth and James dress at LAX airport. The actress kept the dress casual with flat sandals, shades and an oversized bag. Chelsea Handler proved that the nautical trend can also work at a  movie premiere when the TV host wore her dress with two tones heels and carried an electric blue clutch for her new movie This Means War.

If you love the nautical trend then you’ll want Anna and Chelsea’s dress for £131. If you’re on a budget of under £100 then this striped maxi Dress (£61.80) will be right up your street.

Although Anne has shown how the Elizabeth and James dress can be worn casually, the sandals don’t work with that dress. I love that Chelsea has shown that nautical can look glamorous and those two tones shoes work brilliantly with the dress. Casual or dressy; you decide which nautical look is better.
