Elle Macpherson vs Anne Hathaway in Tom Ford

A perfect example proving that leaving things to the imagination can be super sexy! This Tom Ford dress is floor length, long sleeved with a gorgeous high neckline, and spangled with jewels. Anne Hathaway first wore this gown (one of eight dress changes!) while hosting the 83rd Annual Academy Awards evening in February 2011. She accessorised the Tom Ford piece with a glamourous pair of drop down earrings -a gown that bejewelled, who needs more accessories?! She pulled her hair back into a low elegant bun and went for smokey eyes with a natural pout.

Our classic Aussie babe Elle Macpherson wore the same gown and complimented hers with a pair of nude sandals, (showing off perfectly painted toenails might I add) a jewel encrusted box clutch and a pair of twinkling drop down earrings. Whereas Anne rocked the pale and interesting look, Macpherson is the definition of sunkissed. She’s opted for natural make up brushed with bronze to contrast the gown, and had her golden locks swept back into a high ponytail wrapped by a plait. Perfect for the red carpet at the 2012 National Television Awards in January!
