Miley Cyrus vs Kylie Minogue in Emilio Pucci

Wow! Isn’t it funny how the colour of a gown can completely change the statement it makes?! In her first red carpet appearance since her recent makeover, Miley Cyrus made a bold statement with this Emilio Pucci F/W 2012 gown, at the VMAs the other day. Even with her new mohawk and simple accessorising she still managed to rock the elegant dress. Whilst Miley’s ensemble adds a touch of grunge to the red carpet, Kylie Minogue’s look is an altogether more romantic take on this gown. We spotted the singer in the red version of the dress, back in May, at the Cinema Against AIDS amfAR Gala. Kylie sure was looking sophisticated and confident in this flirtatious number.

Unfortunately, this particular dress is no longer available to purchase, however, this Emilio Pucci cut-out gown from the same collection is similar and can be bought for $2,890. If you’re more skinted than minted, get a similar look with this cut-out maxi dress for just £32.

I think Miley rocks this look, adding a daring edge to a sophisticated gown for a sultry look.
