Cassie vs. Ciara in Givenchy

A couple of days ago Cassie won a fashion battle against La La Anthony wearing 3.1 Phillip Lim Tank, but here she is again,  promoting her new single Rock a Bye Baby in a pair of printed silk twill high-top sneakers by Givenchy. The singer matched the sporty shoes with a pair of black leather shorts and tank top. To give it all a more feminine touch, she finished off her look with bracelets, a statement gold necklace and, as of late, signature hoop earrings.

The Givenchy sneakers was again spotted on fellow musician Ciara at the DJ Pro Style’s party in NYC. The Like a Boy singer styled her pair with black leather skinny pants and an oversized sweatshirt. Just like Cassie, she added an edgy gold medallion. But did she wear her look better?

Without a single doubt, my vote goes to Ciara. Cassie looks cool, but I feel she’s lost too much of her femininity with her style choices. Ciara managed to reach the right balance and Givenchy’s design is a perfect match for her!
