Evan Rachel Wood vs BoA in Gucci

When these two ladies stepped out in this vintage look we knew that the ’20s were back with a bang. This flapper dress, from the Gucci Spring 2012 collection, was worn by Evan Rachel Wood at the LACMA Inaugral Art & Film Gala back in November. Evan oozed twenties glamour with her smokey eyes and finger-wave hairdo. Some gold Gucci sandals completed the ensemble. Korean singer, BoA was one of many celebs to wear it after Evan Rachel Wood. She donned the frock for the reopening of Gucci’s Seoul flagship store two weeks ago. BoA wore the same blinging Gucci heels with the dress but opted to accessorize with a small gold clutch and kept her hair tied back.

You don’t have to go back to the ’20s to get hold of a flapper frock. Just head to a Gucci store for this dress, or if you want an almost exact copy, this black Aztec embellished tunic top (£100) is just the thing.

Evan wins it hands down in my opinion. She looks like she could have stepped out of an old black and white film. If BoA had done something interesting with her hair then things might be different. Do you agree? Vote away!
